A while back I decided to give my cactus (I think an Opuntia monocantha) a trim. It had grown in various unusual ways, I think because it wasn’t getting enough light.
Having moved it to the walkway on front of the flat where it gets more light, it seemed healthier. So I decided to give it a trim back in the hope of getting it growing in a more healthy and less messy way.
What to do with the cuttings? What else but try to propagate them.

I’ve now got half a dozen little pots on my East facing balcony where I suspect they aren’t getting enough light but they are developing into proper little cactus now, roots an all.
A number of the pups have died off, so I think now is probably a good time to repot the healthy ones into the ceramic pots I bought on Amazon and move to a sunnier position.
